We only collect what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. Other users see roughly how far away your dog is, never your address. You can delete your account, and your data, whenever you like.
1. Who we are
Only Paws is run by Delivered Social Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10516152), registered office Waltham House, 5–7 St Marys Terrace, Mill Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 3TZ. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Our ICO registration number is ZB292470.
2. What we collect
Your account
Your first name, email address, date of birth (to check you're 18 or over) and sign-in details.
Your dog's profile
Your dog's name, photos, breed, age, size and anything you add to their bio.
Your activity
Who you wag at and walk on from, your matches, messages and any walks you plan.
Location
Your approximate location, only while you use the app and only if you allow it. More in section 4.
Device and usage
Device type, app version, crash reports and how the app is used, so we can fix bugs and improve it.
When you contact us
Your name, email and message when you use our contact form, plus any reports you make about other users.
3. How we use it, and why we're allowed to
UK data protection law says we need a lawful reason to use your information. Here's ours:

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Your location
We use your approximate location to show you dogs nearby. Other users only ever see a rough distance, like "2 miles away". We never show your exact location or your home address. If you turn location off, you can still use the app, but you won't see dogs nearby.
5. What other users can see
Other Only Paws users can see your dog's profile, your first name and your rough distance. Only people you've matched with can message you. Anything you share in chat or on a walk is shared with that person, so please think before you share personal details.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, photos and messages within 30 days. We may keep a small amount of information for longer where we need to, for example records of safety reports or anything we're legally required to keep. Contact form messages are kept for up to 2 years.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- ask us to delete your information
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
- ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, contact us and choose "My data", or email hello@onlypawsapp.uk. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
10. Age limit
Only Paws is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we'll delete any account we find belongs to someone younger.
11. Changes and contact
